‘N Good Company, Inc has assembled a caring and diverse team to design a non-formal, Christian parachurch Youth Ministry Program to accompany and instruct middle school age youth (12 - 14) in Essential Christian Spiritual Practices, Self-Care & Community Service, and Spiritual Coaching & Life Skills Instruction.

A primary objective for ‘N Good Company, Inc is to offer a combination of basic daily life skills instruction, a deepened level of support, a sense of collective or social identity, a strong sense of self-worth, and a proper sense of confidence in utilizing a collection of well tried and proven Christian spiritual practices that help to set middle school age youth on a very healthy, positive, resilient and spiritually intelligent life trajectory.
John Douglas Main OSB (21 January 1926 – 30 December 1982) was a Roman Catholic priest and Benedictine monk who presented a way of Christian meditation which used a prayer-phrase or mantra. In 1975, Main began Christian meditation groups which met at Ealing Abbey, his monastery in West London, England and, later, in Montreal, and Quebec, Canada. These were the origins of the ecumenical network of Christian meditation groups which have become the World Community for Christian Meditation (WCCM). John Main OSB | WCCM
The World Community is now present in 120+ countries. Individuals, weekly groups and centers share the peace and compassion that are the spiritual fruits of meditation. Groups meet in homes, parishes, schools, offices, hospitals, prisons and universities. There are groups for the homeless, for those in recovery from addiction and a special emphasis of the community is to share this gift of meditation with the poor and marginal (wccm.org).
Christian Meditation, as taught by John Main OSB is a prayer of Stillness. The body and mind are completely silent and still.
Meditation is not about getting into altered states of consciousness or seeing and experiencing anything out of the ordinary. It is about entering more fully into the ordinary, and discovering thereby the absolute wonder of it, the presence of God: that the ordinary is shot through with the extraordinary.

‘N Good Company, Inc teaches reflective scripture reading of the sacred writings of Christianity contained in the Bible both one on one and in small groups so that middle school age youth (12 - 14) learn how to search Scripture themselves for doctrinal truth, grow in their knowledge, discernment, what the scriptures say about how God values his children, the discipleship of youth, and what kind of spirit-led life He desires for them as they make their passage through adolescence and into greater spiritual maturity. We also hope that over time inhabiting the same indoor space, outdoor forest or virtual space will remarkably activate creative thinking, encourage dialogue, and promote a greater sense of belonging, calm and deeper spiritual connections.
